A Passion for Travel
I love to travel. I truly believe it is the ultimate form of education. And I’m extremely grateful to have started my journey around the world as a child.
I was born and raised in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts and rep the 617 wherever I go! But as my parents are from Trinidad, they also made sure I knew all about my heritage and cultural traditions.
Growing up in a Caribbean-American household, I was exposed to different cultures and ways of living from an early age. As I got older, that desire to learn and know more only got stronger. There’s just nothing like being able to experience another culture first-hand.
And that’s exactly what happened when I made the decision to study abroad in Dakar, Senegal during college. Before then, I had never met a Senegalese person nor been away so far from my friends and family for so long. It was scary but the experience was absolutely LIFE-CHANGING! I loved every bit of it and it’s one of THE BEST decisions I’ve ever made.
Today - I’ve had the pleasure of visiting 29 countries across five continents, including 18 states in the U.S., as well as Washington D.C. and the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico. I’m on a mission to leave my mark in as many other destinations as I can while giving my followers a chance to experience it with me.
